Christmas in England December 2005 - January 2006"You are going WHERE for Christmas??? Are you totally mad??? It will be cold, wet, and the sun hardly gets above the horizon!!! The driving will be difficult, the motorways will be crazy with pileups in the ice....." You would have thought we were planning on Alaska, but it was England we decided to visit for Christmas. The northern part, mind you, arriving in Manchester, driving to York for Christmas then moving south to Nottingham and Rutland, then back to Manchester. As with my other travel records, the trip is presented here as a travel diary, with notes about each day or place and selected photographs. The diary is divided into daily files so you can read through the day then go to the record for the next or previous day. Paul, July 2007 |
